Course Design and Development
Creating an online course is a team effort. The cTEKI team partners with internal and external clients and subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, and deliver engaging eLearning, while maintaining quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
Our team uses the ADDIE instructional design method, as shown below:
Analyze: Conduct training needs analysis with clients to identify the educational concern, learning goals, objectives, audience, existing content, and any other relevant design issues. Analysis also determines the learning
management system, constraints, delivery options, assignments, and timeline for the project.
Design: The eLearning Instructional Designers (EID) collaborate with subject matter experts, multimedia
designers, and programmers to design engaging
eLearning for internal and external clients through
storyboard design. During the design phase, the EID
also manages client relationships and the project timeline.
Develop: Using the storyboard created in the design phase,
the EID develops the content online, while collaborating with
subject matter experts, multimedia designers, and programmers.
Implement: The Implementation Specialist analyzes HR data and works with clients to assign their target audience to courses. The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures functionality, consistency, and accuracy of eLearning content.
Evaluate: If chosen by the client Level 1 evaluation will be created for the course. If requested, qualitative and quantitative data analysis will be provided as well.
