The Healthcare Education and Training site, also known as HealthcareEDU is an interprofessional educational resource used to assist with training and development in the healthcare environment. This site is for individuals outside of the Cleveland Clinic health system. To access the site’s content, you are required to create an account.
Geriatric Emergency Medicine (GEM)
The GEM curriculum is for physicians specializing in Geriatric Emergency Medicine. The curriculum consists of five courses aimed at improving knowledge of basic principles of geriatric emergency care with an emphasis on quality of care issues that have been identified in part through literature review. The curriculum also includes three simulated cases of a geriatric patient presenting to the Emergency Department. Each point within the cases require you to make decisions that will affect the outcome.
